Thanksgiving of 2023 I was admitted to the hospital in the middle of a thyroid storm which is very dangerous and life-threatening. It landed me in the hospital for about two weeks and resulted in a total thyroidectomy on Dec. 8, 2023. I was struggling with recovery. I was tired all the time, slept most of the day and night. I also had severe brain fog and neck pain from the surgery. On January 19, 2024 I was at my friend’s salon getting my hair done, and I was falling asleep in the chair. I couldn’t keep my eyes open. She walks over to me and hands me this tiny little quarter size patch and tells me to put it on. I asked what it was and she said it’s something to help you feel better. I normally would get more detailed information but at the current state of mind I was in, I didn’t really care what it was because I knew I could trust her and she wouldn’t give me anything dangerous. I fell back asleep in her chair. Within the hour, I woke up and had increased energy and I could tell my brain function was back! I could think clearly again! I tried to logically think what just happened and she told me “well you put a patch on” (which I completely forgot about). That evening I went out to dinner with her and another friend and they both said I was acting like my old self again. "Hey Dude, good morning, so I thought I would share this story with you. Not sure if I told you but I have been having big time issues with both shoulders, lots of pain, and it hurt to lift anything over head, even to put a Tshirt on...Even clapping in church hurt.

So as you know I've been wearing the patch daily since Aug 5th. Then in early Oct 2024, I added patches to both shoulders daily.
On Oct 6th I went to a Naturalist Doctor in Prescott, they did complete Ultrasounds on both shoulders and found both shoulders had big tears in both rotator cuffs, as well as a tear in the left Bicep.

I was trying to think / plan when to have this surgery and schedule it, although really dreading it. So I kept working out, doing the shoulder rehab exercises and patching. And I was feeling really good, hardly any pain in either shoulder. Right after Christmas 2024 I called the orthopedic and said, I think you should order a new ultrasound just to compare. He agreed.

On Jan 6th I had another ultrasound, yesterday the orthopedic called me and said, "I don't know what you are doing but keep it up. Both shoulders tears look a lot better. The tears are very small now and I don't think we need to do surgery."

Thanksgiving day, 2019, I was in a multiple car accident on the interstate. I took the worst of it and was told I should not have lived through, but I did. I have spent the last 4 1/2 years healing. The doctors wanted to do bone fusion on both my hands as all the cartilage was broken away. I refused to do that as I already have a wrist that is fused and did not want to go through that and not have that mobility lost. April 18, 2024 Joe Finn 2 months in before blood test I wouldn't have told you anything in particular.. Maybe a little more energy Fewer naps.. weight loss from activity.. In 2020 I fell backwards on my stairs and fell back onto the landing and broke my neck. I was taken to the emergency room and was in intensive care for seven weeks. I have rods on both sides of my neck and I have the potential for arthritis and a lot of pain. But I have noticed since I've taken X 39 now for at least four months, That I don't have as much pain as I had, and I know when I have forgotten my patch, because suddenly I will notice by the end of the day that I have pain. I have also noticed, that I will experience pain in my knees during the day when I have forgotten my patch.
