Very few companies have successfully launched in Korea, but those that do have seen tremendous results.

Amway did $8.8 Billion in sales in 2016 with $1 billion from Korea, $1 billion from Japan and $4 billion from China. That's 68% of their sales from these three countries.
Nu-Skin did $2.2 Billion in sales in 2016 with $500 million from Korea, $500 million from Japan and $700 million from China. That's 77% of their sales from these three countries.

Isagenix has the size and successful experience to be the next successful company to launch in these three countries starting with Korea later this year. Isagenix expects to be a $5 to $8 Billion dollar a year company in the next decade and it would stand to reason that a large percentage of the sales will come through these three countries! We are sitting on an incredible opportunity. We are potentially sitting on 70+% of Isagenix Future sales volume!

Fortunately for all of us, Isagenix has not been to Korea yet!

Many Network Marketers in Korea missed the ground floor opportunity with the few successful companies there now (Amway, Nu-Skin and Herbalife). So they will be and are very open to the idea of Isagenix coming to Korea. The opening of Isagenix in Korea will be the biggest Network Marketing event in the history of Korea. Nerium who was a third the size of Isagenix when it expanded in to Korea did $40,000,000 in their first month alone. Kwangsoo Shin thinks we'll blow by that record! We are all expecting a HUGE response to this opportunity in Korea and then later in Japan and China.

Kwangsoo Shin will be in Korea for the launch. He'll be famous there and able to meet with our prospects and sign them up for us. We're all on his team. Our success is his success!

Social Media is the key to leveraging the launch of Isagenix in to Korea.

The fact that we live in America or the UK is to our advantage as people in Korea want to have American and European friends.

25% of Koreans are involved in MLM or Multi-Leveling marketing (personally I have a dislike for MLM, Isagenix is NOT MLM. If you would like to know the difference, we can discuss anytime you like. It definitely makes a difference! Isagenix is Network marketing.) The point is that as you make friends in Korea, there is a good chance they are already involved in our profession and more open to a great opportunity like Isagenix.

Of the Koreans that are involved in Network Marketing, about half are full time. They treat it like a real business (it is by the way!)

In Korea, you must be 20 years old to join a company. Government employees, teachers and military cannot join Network Marketing companies.

There are two million Koreans in American and Canada with one million of those in CA alone mostly in Southern CA. Koreans that still speak Korean are going to be your best prospects as they most likely still have Korean contacts back in Korea.

Korea is one of the most connected countries in the world. The Internet is awesome in Korea.

Notice that I have a cover photo and three of my five "featured" photos relating to Koreans. So when I request a friend stating that I am seeking to learn more about the Korean culture and make more Korean friends, they see that reflected on my profile and are more likely to accept my friend request.

Find people with the last names of Lee, Chung, Park and Kim (many of the 50,000,000 Koreans have one of these four last names)

Limit your friend requests to about five to ten a day.

Look for socially active people on FB (lots of friends and active engagement/posts/conversations)

Focus on 30 to 50 year olds.

Good to have a mix of Korean Americans and Koreans living in Korea.

Focus on just being their friend. Mention the recent Olympics and a point of common ground. Avoid mentioning business at all for now. Koreans are very impatient and if you mention business now, they will be turned off that it is not available at this time.

NOTE: Remember... The max payout in Korea is 35% where as Isagenix comp plan pays out 50%. So the pay plan for Korea will be different than ours, so don't go there.

Be aware of the time zone difference when messaging and requesting friends. At noon Central USA it is 3 am in Korea!

Farmer John suggest commenting on the person's profile page on a post you like, then send your friend request. Then send a short message explaining why you sent them the friend request. For example, here is the short message I send after requesting a friend: "My wife and I are considering a trip to Korea and looking to make a few Korean friends on FB to learn more about your country and culture. We are hoping to connect with both Korean Americans and Koreans in Korea. Chuck & Diane Williams

Kwangsoo does NOT recommend going to Korean restaurants or businesses in your area and pitching the employees or owner on Isagenix. Be professional and build a relationship first. Do NOT bring up Japan or North Korea in conversation. South Koreans in general do not think positively towards Japan or North Korea.

Koreans are generally involved and active in church.

Important to be on the Saturday Zoom training calls with Kwangsoo every week for the latest updates and steps to be taking. When the timing is right (LATER, NOT NOW)... "Hey I started a new business and we are launching in Korea soon can you help me?" Kwangsoo feels about 10% of your friends will be interested in helping you.

This is a Win/Win with our new friends in Korea as it will lead to them having business in the USA and other markets outside of Korea. This is a stabilizing effect on their business.

What to do NOW... in addition to building your list of FB Korean friends:

Use this training and our connection with Kwangsoo Shin to recruit in the UK and USA and the other 13 markets Isagenix is currently doing business!

NOTE: have you set up in your back office to do International business?

Working with Kwangsoo and receiving his training is a huge advantage and should be attractive to anyone that is serious about developing a home based business. The fact that Kwangsoo will be in Korea for the opening and often during the first 12 months is another huge advantage for us. He is going to Korea and is willing to work with our prospects from sharing the opportunity to enrolling them to training them... This is HUGE!

Use something like,
"I know how to get Koreans as customers and in my distribution network and I can teach you how to do it too".
"We know how to get customers in Korea"
"We have someone going to Korea to sign up people for you, if you make the referral!"

TIP: Use the next three months wisely to set up the rest of your life! All out focus.

Korean Launch Story:

We are super blessed! There is an opportunity here that I have never seen in my entire career. Not for the Herb Cepeda team, not for Isagenix! It is for Kwangsoo down! We’re blessed beyond measure. I know you don’t really get it, because if you did, you would be enrolling 5 or 6 six people a week. I’m serious. USE KWANGSOO AND HIS STORY to build your business right now. EVERYBODY you talk to right now, you should be asking them “do you know any Koreans? You know any Koreans?”… “Would you do me a favor as my friend, and start asking your friends if they know any Koreans.” Start networking to find Koreans and eventually, you’re gonna find an American who is smart and says “why do you ask?” “I’m glad you asked. Here’s what’s going on (insert kwangsoo story here)……would you like to be a part of it?

It is an unbelievable opportunity. You have been on the Saturday calls, you have seen copies of some of his checks. God is no respecter of persons- what happened for him can happen for us. He found just find a couple good people that actually exploded this thing in Korea…..he was with the wrong company. And he is scratching his head- and.. he is not a believer yet, so he doesn’t quite understand everything, in my opinion, he’ll ask “I don’t understand why Isagenix hasn’t gone to Korea yet. It’s like they were waiting for us. They WERE!

That’s our story! You have to tell people, “We don’t understand everything- it’s a 16 year old company, it’s done 6B in cumulative sales, there’s no logical reason that they should have waited this long to open up Korea, but they did, and we’re working with the guy who is consultant for the company to open up the country, and he is TRAINING us on how to do what he did- twice before.

AND THEN YOU TELL THEM HIS STORY: In the 1990’s he was with NuSkin, he went from nothing to over $100,000 a month in 10 MONTHS because they opened up Korea. That fell apart, it wasn’t his fault, it wasn’t even the company’s fault- the COUNTRY fell apart- the currency went crazy and it just fell apart. 20 years later, he gets another opportunity and does it with Nerium. He had the same basic start- 22,000 new distributors THE FIRST MONTH. But Nerium couldn’t handle it- they couldn’t fill the orders, and Nerium (I’ll NEVER understand why they did this, except that it was for our benefit so we could work with Kwangsoo) they CHARGED the people their first autoship before they even got their product from the FIRST order! Needless to say, out of 22,000 people, he had nothing left. And so he was devastated. He was literally on the verge of suicide, he really was- he saw it as his only way to save his family and his kids’ college and everything else was to figure out how he was going to kill himself.

And then somehow he found out that Isagenix was looking to grow in Korea, and so the company started recruiting him to come on staff to be a Corporate guy to open up Korea. So he started doing his homework and so what he did, is he contacted Herb Cepeda online because he saw that Herb was the #1 income earner, so he was like “I’m going to check out who this guy is” He didn’t expect Herb to answer him. So Herb gets a Facebook friend request from this guy named Kwangsoo Shin

in LA. He calls him right away and he says “Hey, this is Herb Cepeda”. Kwangsoo is like, “I didn’t expect you to call me, didn’t expect you to be my friend..” One thing led to another and Herb Cepeda is like “Kwangsoo, why would you want to work for corporate instead of being out in the field with us and have freedom?” Kwangsoo was like “DUhhh! Good point!” So Kwangsoo signed up with Herb Cepeda, and thank God for all of us, the timing was right that we all fell in Kwangsoo’s downline”

I’m talking about people that are successful with other network marketing companies- who cares what else they’re doing- keep doing whatever you’re doing, you need good health too, let’s get you some better health and get you plugged in for timing for what’s about to happen with Korea, we’re ALL in Herb and Patty Cepeda and Kwangsoo’s team leg… Now what you’ve got to do is get your first 10 in that team leg to get you some momentum going to get you to Director and once a solid Director and that’s hard to do.
